Winter
There are two ski areas which can be enjoyed with one ski pass; Kuhtai and Hochötz.
Wherehaving the highest ski resort in Austria, in Kühtai you can go skiing from December until the beginning of May.
Next to skiing and snowboarding, there are also possibilities for cross-country ski run and toboggan run. Kühtai is located at 2020 meters with the highest point at 2520 meters. You can reach this ski area from our pension within 10 minutes by ski bus. The bus stop is located only 50 meters from our pension.
You can also easily go there withprivate transport. On Wednesday and Saturday evening you can enjoy evening skiing.
St. Sigmund offers an (illuminated) toboggan run to Gleirschalm in the Gleirschtal valley. The toboggan run is ideal for parents with small children. At the end of the toboggan run, there is a playground where children can play and parents can enjoy a snack and drink on the sun terrace while keeping an eye on the children.
